Diddy Faces New Allegations: Accused of Drugging and Sexually Assaulting Woman in 1991 After Cassie Settlement
3 min readAnother accuser has come forward against Sean “Diddy” Combs, a week after he quickly settled a sexual assault lawsuit filed by Cassie. Cassie claimed rape as well as years of abuse from Combs over the past several decades. A woman filed a complaint in a court in Manhattan, just before the Adult Survivors Act expired. She says that in 1991, when she was a college student, Diddy drugged and raped her. According to the court papers that The Times looked at, the woman went to dinner with Diddy at a restaurant in Harlem during a holiday break from Syracuse University. She claims that he insisted she stay with him after dinner. The lawsuit mentions that they had common friends and appeared together in parts of a music video.

The lawsuit says that Combs gave the woman drugs that made her unable to stand or walk on her own. When they went to a music studio, she couldn’t leave, and he then went to where he was staying and sexually assaulted her, as mentioned in the legal document. The lawsuit also accuses Combs of filming the incident and sharing it in New York state without her permission. Bad Boy Records and Combs Enterprises are also listed as defendants in the lawsuit. The legal papers state that at the time of the incident, Combs was working as a talent director at Uptown Records.
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Accused Of Drugging, Raping A Woman Named Joi Dickerson-Neal In New Lawsuit After Cassie Settlement
Not long after settling with his ex-girlfriend Cassie, Sean “Diddy” Combs faces a new lawsuit. A woman named Joi Dickerson-Neal claims that the rapper raped and drugged her in 1991, as stated in a case filed in Manhattan Supreme Court on Thursday and reported by the Daily Beast. According to the lawsuit, Dickerson, a college student at the time, reluctantly agreed to have an early dinner with Combs. She ended up in a state where she couldn’t stand or walk on her own because Combs intentionally drugged her during their date. The lawsuit describes how Combs took her to a music studio and later to where he was staying, where he sexually assaulted her. Though Dickerson didn’t report the incident to authorities, she alleges that DeVante Swing from the R&B group Jodeci later informed her that Combs had been distributing a “sex tape” of them. However, Swing reportedly refused to help Dickerson seek justice because he feared it would harm his record deal with Combs.
Diddy has been hit with a second sexual assault lawsuit.

According to the petition, Dickerson dropped out of college and was hospitalised for suicidal ideation. “It is interesting how well-meaning laws can be misinterpreted at the last minute.” “Ms. Dickerson’s 32-year-old story is fabricated and untrustworthy,” the spokeswoman stated. “Mr. Combs never assaulted her, and she accuses businesses that do not exist.” This is nothing more than a money grab.” The representative for Combs is alluding to New York’s Adult Survivors Act, which enables alleged victims of sexual crimes to pursue civil cases even if the statute of limitations has passed. It is notable because it will expire on Friday. Combs, 54, recently resolved a dispute with his ex-girlfriend Cassie. On Nov. 16, the “Me & U” singer alleged her ex of rape as well as years of both mental and physical abuse. Cassie, real name Cassandra Ventura, alleged the rapper “was plagued by uncontrollable rage, and would frequently beat [her] savagely” throughout their decade-long relationship. Combs and Cassie, 37, however, resolved the lawsuit 24 hours after she filed it.
