Following the accusations, a 2022 Yung Joc clip depicting Ventura’s shaved head from 2009 went viral online. The clip that alleges Diddy of pressuring Ventura to shave her head off in 2009 has caused netizens to feel the charges levelled against Diddy in the lawsuit are plausible. The rapper was accused in the lawsuit of exercising coercive control on Cassie Ventura over their 10-year relationship, which began in 2007.

According to the lawsuit, the relationship ended after the Bad Boy Records founder reportedly pushed his way into Ventura’s residence and raped her in 2018. The lawsuit, which was filed on Thursday, November 16, claimed that Diddy repeatedly assaulted her by hitting and r*ping her throughout their 10-year relationship. She further claimed that the rap mogul had complete control over her life, paying for her apartments in New York and Los Angeles, providing her with fancy apparel, and providing her with medicines to make her “complacent and compliant.” The rediscovered video has prompted many people to believe that Yung Joc’s statements validate Diddy’s allegations.

Cassie Ventura, then 22, debuted a new look in 2009, shaving the right part of her head.
