YouTube video creator MrBeast tested positive for COVID-19. With the caption “Having Covid Sucks”, he informed everyone about the same on his Instagram stories.
MrBeast aka Jimmy Donaldson currently lives in North Carolina. North Carolina health officials reported 3,293 cases of COVID-19 hospitalizations on Jan. 6, up from 3,099 the day before, they said.
30.1% of Coronavirus tests were reported positive as of Jan. 4, the latest date with available information. According to health officials, 5% or lower is the target for preventing the virus from spreading.
A recent survey revealed that 74% of adults in North Carolina have received a Coronavirus vaccination at least once, and about 70% have been fully vaccinated.
Mrbeast Received Loans To Help Small Businesses Hit By The Pandemic
Mashable reports that MrBeast YouTube LLC received a loan intended to provide relief to small businesses affected by the Coronavirus pandemic earlier in 2020. Jeffree Star Cosmetics also received a loan for the same purpose.
Based on the information provided by the Small Business Administration, ProPublica found that MrBeast YouTube LLC and Jeffree Star Cosmetics each received loans ranging from $350,000 to $1 million under the Paycheck Protection Program.
Best Known For Charity
YouTuber MrBeast, real name Jimmy Donaldson, has more than 87 million subscribers. The YouTuber is well-known for his charitable giveaways and elaborate challenges. Several brand deals generated most of MrBeast’s revenue in 2018, according to The Verge.
In October, he launched a fundraiser called ‘Team Seas,’ which teams him up with other YouTubers in an effort to raise $30 million to remove 30 million pounds of ocean trash.
