The confusion began when IShowSpeed encountered technical issues during the marathon, prompting him to consider leaving the house where he and Kai Cenat had been hosting the stream. In a 43-second video posted on X (formerly Twitter), IShowSpeed informed Kai of his decision to leave, stating that he was ready to walk away from the broadcast. Despite Kai’s reassurances that they could fix the problems, IShowSpeed appeared to be saying his farewells to their fans and preparing to end his participation.
Kai Cenat tried to convince his friend to stay, telling him that the issues could be resolved. In a tense exchange, Kai said, “Oh, we will fix it, bro. You’re going to leave? I’ll wait until we fix it.” Despite his best efforts to persuade IShowSpeed to stay, the Ohio native seemed determined to call it quits, responding, “Love you all boys, though.” Kai, clearly frustrated, asked, “Bro, you’re dead a** leaving, bruh?”
