A video has gone viral on TikTok of a spat between an owner of a building and its residents where an ally of the owner threatened and assaulted the resident and Denton Police officials present at the scene let the man leave. This whole incident has sparked a debate on social media. Many questions the Denton Police Department for the actions of the officials with the man.

Video of spat between owner and residents goes viral on TikTok

Recently, a TikTok video went viral where on 7th April a spat between an owner of a building and its residents took place. The incident is said to be of a residential building on S.4th Street. While the Denton Police were informed about the incident.

They arrived when the spat between the two parties was going on. However, one of the ally of the owner went on to threaten and assault the resident. The man who did this to the resident was said to be Christopher Morgan. Yet, the cops didn’t arrest the man for his behaviour and instead, let the man leave the scene.

What exactly did Christopher Morgan do?

Christopher Morgan was present at the scene where a verbal spat was going on between the residents and the owner. The video of the bystander that went viral on the scene showed Morgan and his behaviour in the video.

Morgan threatened and assaulted the residents and even punched the glass screen door several times. While the Denton Police officials let the man leave without arresting him for his behaviour. Though the woman with whom Morgan was arguing requested cops to arrest him. Yet nothing like that happened.

After the 2-minute video went viral showing Christopher Morgan. Netizens have given their reaction on the same even questioning the Denton Police Department for their action on Morgan and even the decision of their officials during the spat.

Denton Police Department however is now investigating the whole matter. The department chief George Bacorn has said “Morgan was not arrested at that time due to his highly agitated state and the officers’ intent to deescalate the situation”.

Meanwhile, residents went to District Court Commissioner and got a peace order against Morgan. While the latter has been charged with second-degree assault. With further charges of destruction of property on him.
