In truth, the film is about the death of comedian Bob Saget, a close friend of Carrey’s, who died of a brain injury on January 9, 2022.

Carrey’s death has not been reported by a trustworthy source, therefore it’s reasonable to presume that he’s still alive and well.

In September 2017, the actor made an appearance on the YouTube podcast TIFF Originals as a guest star.

Jim Carrey had spoken out about his depression

During the conversation, Carrey revealed that he made up his entire image to make people feel less worried and that Jim Carrey was just one of the many characters he had portrayed. “, he remarked “I thought I was just making something fun for people, but it turned out to be a character. I played a guy who was unconcerned so that everyone seeing me would be unconcerned as well.”

He also discussed depression and provided his own comparison of how it differs from sadness. He said that sorrow was the body’s way of telling you that it no longer wanted to be the persona you had created, whereas depression was the body’s way of telling you that it no longer wanted to be the character you had created.

He also discussed his intentions to sell NFTs. Carrey did say, though, that his retirement was not set in stone and that he might reprise parts that he felt were essential to him in the future.

The actor most recently appeared in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Dirty Daddy: The Bob Saget Tribute on Netflix.
