Rumours that Chris Tyson, a friend of the incredibly popular YouTuber MrBeast, was fired have been dispelled after they appeared in a recent video. MrBeast, real name Jimmy Donaldson, counts Tyson among his closest friends, and he has appeared in many of the content creator’s videos. Rumours, however, have been going around recently claiming Tyson had been fired from the channel, which does not seem accurate. Earlier this month, Tyson announced that they would receive gender-affirming hormone replacement therapy and that they would go by any pronouns from now on.
Members of MrBeast’s team voiced their support for Tyson, while Chris was subjected to a wave of transphobic abuse they called ‘dog whistling’. As a result of speculation in the YouTube comments regarding Tyson’s gender, he addressed the matter of their changing appearance. The fan shared an image of the content creator on social media and asked ‘WTF happened’. Other fans responded quite unkindly online. There have been a number of videos recently claiming Chris had been fired from MrBeast’s channel, but they seem to have been debunked after Tyson appeared in a recent video.

A New Video Has Dispelled Rumors That MrBeast Fired Chris Tyson
The reports that Chris Tyson, a friend of MrBeast, had been fired seem to have been debunked after they appeared in a recent video. In addition to appearing in plenty of MrBeast’s videos, Tyson is one of the content creator’s closest friends. Despite recent reports claiming Tyson had been fired from the channel, these reports appear to have been unsubstantiated. As of earlier this month, Tyson is receiving gender-affirming hormone replacement therapy, with their social media accounts now indicating they can use any pronoun they choose. YouTubers MrBeast and others supported Tyson, while Chris faced waves of transphobic abuse they described as “dog whistling”. After fans speculated about Tyson’s gender in the YouTube comments, he addressed their changing appearance. A few fans took to social media to share their unkind comments, including one who shared a picture of the creator and asked, What happened? It’s only been two months since I started HRT. After responding, Tyson explained how the decision was made. I and many others are alive today due to informed consent HRT.
It is amazing to me how gnc (gender non-conforming) people have to jump through hoops to get life-saving gender-affirming healthcare in a first-world country. It is important for people to be able to make informed decisions about their bodies. Tyson continued: I was nervous to talk about this publicly because I have always been so private, but seeing conversations started because of me has been amazing. It’s getting absurd. Chris isn’t a nightmare for me, he’s my friend, and things are fine. All this transphobia is making me crazy, MrBeast said in response to a video claiming Tyson would surely become a nightmare.
