Joe Rogan reacts on the food pyramid chart

It was on social media that UFC commentator Joe Rogan shared the food pyramid chart. Where he looked totally unconvinced with the placement of the food items in the chart. He expressed his disappointment at the chart where expert nutritionists have claimed lucky charms, the cereals are healthier than steaks.

On his social media Joe Rogan wrote “Thanks to the large collection of legitimate nutrition experts with independent shows distributing information based on solid research, we know this bullsh*t. Complete, undeniable, indefensible bullsh*t”. Adding more to the same he said, “But yes this government-funded recommendations chart is here to let you know they suck at giving food advice too”.

Was the food pyramid chart on social media a government-funded one?

Though Joe Rogan and even Good Ranchers shared the same food pyramid chart. Saying the food items in the chart weren’t placed rightly in terms of their healthfulness. Yet, it wasn’t anywhere to be found on the website of government. In fact, the food pyramid chart was from a research paper.

Ty Beal, one of the contributors to the same research paper actually refuted the claims of the food pyramid chart that said that Lucky charms are healthier than steaks. Meanwhile, the same is thus not something represented by the US government.
