Expected release date of the film Deadpool 3

Deadpool 2 was released on the big screen back in 2018. Although later the pandemic and the slow work for the movie didn’t let the movie’s next installment come out early. In fact, fans luckily some time back got its release date announced too.

Deadpool 3 is expected to be in theatres on 3rd May 2024. However, it looks like the director of the film isn’t sure of that date too. As Shawn Levy, the director recently opened up about his thoughts on the release of Deadpool 3. But fans may not be happy to know that.

Deadpool 3 director Shawn Levy isn’t sure if the movie is going to have its May release

Recently Shawn Levy gave an interview to The Wrap for his upcoming Netflix series “All The Light We Cannot See”. Along with his series, he was even asked about his much-awaited film Deadpool 3. But it looks like even he is not sure of his movie’s fate.

Levy said, “I wish I knew. I don’t even know if we officially have [a release date]. I know we were gonna be May 3”. Not to miss, the SAG-AFTRA strike has been delaying a lot of projects. As such Levy may not be sure if Deadpool 3 will have its expected May release next year or not.

Levy has already completed a part of the movie’s work already by now. Talking about the same he said “Certainly, the actors’ strike and the long pause in production have put that release date at true risk. We’ve shot half the movie. I have edited half the movie. We’re dying to get back to work and get this movie out next year”.

While the SAG-AFTRA strike and the projects delayed get sorted out. We had Levy along with Reynolds and Jackson attend the recent match between the Kansas City Chiefs vs New York Jets. But fans are only to get happy if Deadpool 3 gets released as expected.
