As part of Shawn Levy’s directorial and production duties for Marvel Studios, Rob Delaney from Catastrophe has been tapped to return for Deadpool 3. Delaney joins Ryan Reynolds and the ensemble of the threequel. It was previously announced that Reynolds and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige would also produce the movie based on a script by Reynolds, Levy, Paul Wernick, Rhett Reese, and Zeb Wells. There is no plot description for Deadpool 3, but past instalments have followed the exploits of Wade Wilson (Reynolds), a foul-mouthed mercenary who finds himself transformed into the immortal superhero Deadpool after undergoing a disfiguring experiment. Following Disney’s acquisition of Fox, which screened the first two instalments, Deadpool 3 will be the very first movie in the franchise that includes Marvel boss Kevin Feige.
