Rapper DDG recently claimed that he charges a staggering $750,000 for a song feature and an even more eye-watering $1 million for a music video. He made these claims on his Instagram Stories, responding to a fan’s direct message inquiring about the cost of a guest verse.

“$750,000 for the song and $1,000,000 for the video cash app ready,” DDG responded to the fan in the screenshot below.

DDG then clarified, “Just in case y’all was wondering my feature price… I take Venmo and Apple Pay too.”

His most recent feature was on Bfb Da Packman’s “Delulu” in March, where he also appeared in the music video.

However, DDG isn’t the only rapper making such bold claims. Soulja Boy, also known as Big Draco, revealed last November that he charges $1 million for a guest appearance. During an Instagram Live session, he claimed that a guest verse now costs $1 million, a performance costs $100,000, and a club appearance $50,000.

While both DDG and Draco are making grandiose claims about their feature charges, there’s no concrete way to verify this information. The only ones privy to the actual costs are those who are willing to pay these astronomical sums. It’s also worth noting that inflating feature prices could serve the rappers’ interests, as high prices often signify a rapper’s relevance and popularity.

However, it’s crucial to remember that rappers have been known to exaggerate their wealth on numerous occasions. Furthermore, Cash App, one of the payment methods mentioned by DDG, only allows transactions up to $1,000 over 30 days. This discrepancy raises questions about the veracity of these claims, leaving fans and critics alike in a state of speculation.

DDG’s Claims Stir Skepticism Among Fans

Many fans are skeptical about DDG’s claims, questioning whether anyone would actually pay such high amounts for a feature and a music video. While the rapper’s assertion might be a strategic move to boost his image and perceived value in the industry, the lack of verifiable information leaves room for doubt.

In the competitive world of rap, boasting about high feature prices can enhance an artist’s reputation, suggesting they are in high demand. However, without concrete evidence or confirmation from those who have allegedly paid these fees, it’s challenging to separate fact from fiction.

For now, fans and industry watchers are left to speculate whether DDG’s feature prices are a reflection of his true market value or merely an exaggerated claim designed to keep his name in the headlines.
