Dan Harris works as a journalist for ABC News, he is an anchor for Nightline. Also, co-anchor for the weekend morning edition of the American show Good Morning America. Dan was Born on July 26, 1971, in Newton, Massachusetts, U.S. He started his anchoring career with 10% Happier. Bianca Harris (m, 2009) and 1 child are his family. His younger brother is a venture capitalist, Matthew Carmichael Harris. Dan has his first anchoring experience when he started at WCSH in Portland, Maine. He worked at New England Cable News from 1997 to 2000.
DAN HARRIS LEAVING ‘ABC’ NEWS
Dan B. Harris, who works as an anchor and has served for multiple shows at ABC News, for the last two decades and has anchored “ Good Morning America”, is now going to leave the anchoring set and ABC News.
He announced that he will be leaving in the next two months, he told his Sunday’s broadcast fans. ABC News is backed up by Disney, many people are demanding him to continue Ten Percent Happier, a business-related media coverage show. He was finding it hard to juggle between work/life balance and he is now very focused to look towards having his family time.
Kim Godwin, the president of ABC News, and Peter Rice, the chairman of general entertainment at Walt Disney Co., decided that Dan Harris can leave his contract early. Earlier, Harris stepped away from ABC News “Nightline”, giving the same work/life balance reason.
