Dame Dash Fires Back at Fat Joe’s Jay-Z Remark: “I don’t make an artist, I make a company”

American entrepreneur Dame Dash is hitting back at Fat Joe after the latter asked Dame to create another Jay-Z. Dame is the co-founder of Roc-A-Fella with Jay-Z, and their joint venture has been quite popular. However, it looks like Dame is having issues with Fat Joe’s comment about Jay-Z now.

Rapper Fat Joe’s comment on Jay Z
On December 29, 2023, rapper Fat Joe took to Instagram Live to discuss something that hasn’t gone well with American entrepreneur Dame Dash. Joe, in his Instagram Live, was heard saying, “If you’re a hustler, if you’re a money getter than where’s your money?”.
He added, “If you’re genius and smart then where’s your s**t?”. Joe was then heard talking about Jay-Z as well, as he said “So whoever you are you know Jay Z said, you know, you made a Jay Z go make another Jay Z”. Although, Joe had his clarification too trying to say he wasn’t referring to Dame specifically.
Dame Dash reacts to the comment of Fat Joe
American entrepreneur and Roc-A-Fella co-founder Dame Dash came across the comment that Fat Joe made last year. Afterward, Dame didn’t waste time hitting back at the rapper for his comment about Jay-Z. On his American Nu Network YouTube channel, Dame posted a video addressing the comments made by Fat Joe.
As he said in the clip, “Why the f**k would i make another Hov?”. He added, “He was double dipping. We were paying him highly as an artist and then he was double dipping from the company and he didn’t make me a lot of money”.

Dame in his reaction went on to say “He [Jay-Z] didn’t generate $100 million a year for me that’s why I had to do lot of other s**t. I don’t want to make another Hov”. He even said that instead of making another Jay-Z, he worked on building the brand Rachel Roy.
As Dame had estimated the brand made $100 million a year as revenue. Dame said, “I don’t make an artist, i make a company”. That’s not all; the American entrepreneur even wanted Fat Joe to take a look at his YouTube channel on American Nu Network, which is gradually gaining traction on the internet.
