Pat Daniel Tillman Jr. was an American professional footballer. He played for the National Football League’s Arizona Cardinals. However, he left his NFL career and instead joined the US military. This happened to post the September 11 attacks.

He did his service in Iraq and Afghanistan and eventually died. His death grabbed a lot of attention. However, recently after he was honoured at the Super Bowl LVII. The reason behind his death has again become the talk of the town.

It was actually to honour the captains who were the recipients of scholarships from the Pat Tillman Foundation. But the video went on to pay tribute to Tillman introducing him as a patriot.
