“Congratulations’: Fans Praises Christina Applegate After she receives a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame
3 min readAs Christina Applegate received her long-awaited star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on 14th November, she gave an emotional speech full of laughter and tears. It was the 50-year-old Emmy winner’s first public appearance after declaring in 2021 that she had multiple sclerosis. She was joined at the service by former Married… with Children co-stars Katey Sagal and David Faustino as well as her “Dead to Me” co-star Linda Cardellini. Additionally, Christina Applegate was joined by her daughter, Sadie, 11, whom she tearfully referred to as the “most important person in this world” to her. Katey Sagal, the entertainer’s former TV mother, helped the entertainer to the platform, where she delivered her speech while supporting her physically.

Christina Applegate joked that it’s so Katey to steal the thunder. The actress, who shares her daughter Sadie with her husband Martyn LeNoble, started talking from her heart about her co-stars after acknowledging that she can’t stand for too long. Applegate revealed prior to the event that she longed for her own star on the Walk of Fame since she was a child. As a child, she stood on the exact same road, waiting to see “Star Wars.” Glancing around at every one of the names on the stars in the city, she thought, I need one! I effing need one! And I was 5 years of age,” she told chuckling. So this day implies more to me than you might possibly imagine.

Christina Applegate Gives an Emotional Speech With Both Laughter And Tears As She’s Honored With A Star on the Walk of Fame
Christina Applegate has finally received the recognition she deserves as a star. In a ceremony attended by fans, family, and former costars, including Linda Cardellini, the entertainer received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on 14th November. The event marked Christina Applegate’s first public appearance since she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, a chronic condition affecting the central nervous system. Christina Applegate, holding back tears as she spoke at the service, said her daughter is the most important person in the world. You are far beyond even you know. You are so gorgeous and kind and cherishing and shrewd and fascinating. I am honoured to wake you up each morning and drive you to school. . . You are my beginning and end. Much thanks to you for remaining close to me through all of this.
True to her sense of humour Christina Applegate added, Oh, coincidentally, I have a sickness. Did you not notice? I’m not even, wearing shoes! At the ceremony, Christina Applegate’s Married With Children co-stars Katey Sagal and David Faustino also spoke. In an emotional statement, Katey Sagal said, You’re not alone. All of us are here. A short statement shared on Twitter by Christina Applegate in August 2021 revealed her diagnosis. As of late, she spoke of dealing with significant symptoms, including not being able to stand long periods of time, while filming the season finale of Netflix’s Dead to Me. Christina Applegate told The New York Times that this is the first time anyone will see me how I really am.
