On April 23, Karina, Giselle, Winter, and Ningning made their long-awaited Coachella 2022 debut. As a one-and-a-half-year-old K-pop group, aespa has accomplished great things. The foursome screamed out high notes while dancing to their set list, demonstrating their vocal prowess. The four females took the stage dressed as fashionistas. The stage began with an introduction to the members of the group, as well as their AI counterparts. The group began with the b-side single aenergy, followed by Black Mamba, Next Level, SAVAGE, and finally, Life’s Too Short, a new song. Several fancams released on Twitter captured the crowd’s enthusiasm for the band’s performance. The crowd erupted in applause for the SAVAGE girl trio, with some even joining in on fan shouts and singing lyrics with them.

Two of journalist Ema Sasic’s five videos of aespa’s performance have already surpassed one million views. The new song’s video has of aespa is 1.8 million views, while Black Mamba’s performance is on the verge of hitting one million views. Because they debuted during the pandemic and had few in-person appearances, fans were very pleased of the Next Level girl group. DJ Raiden, an SM Entertainment artist, shared an Instagram story that showed the massive crowd the four members were performing in front of, making MYs (the group’s following) proud.
