Christine Quinn is leaving Selling Sunset after five seasons
Several insiders close to Christine Quinn have confirmed that she will not feature in Selling Sunset’s upcoming seasons.
The show has recently started back-to-back production for their upcoming season six and season seven.
According to sources, Quinn is all set to move to bigger and better things.
They added, ‘Christine knew this day would come. She is proud of the work she put in to make ‘Selling Sunset’ a success. But she could see herself phasing out of the cast even before she began filming Seasons 4 and 5.’
While another source claimed, ‘Her goals are far bigger than playing a villain on an ensemble reality series. She can’t wait to start the next chapter of her career and show the world who she truly is.’
Moreover, Quinn mutually decided to part ways with Netflix.
Meanwhile, Quinn has been one of the leading cast members in the show. It revolves around the employees of the real estate firm Oppenheim Group in Los Angeles.
She played a major role in Selling Sunset’s fifth season because of her relationship with Christian Richard and rivalry with Chrishell Stause.
Christine Quinn was threatened while filming Selling Sunset
As per one source, Christine Quinn’s decision to leave Selling Sunset comes after the show’s producer, Adam DiVello threatened her.
An insider claimed, ‘After Christine made her feelings known about Adam DiVello. She came to a mutual decision with Netflix and the show’s production companies that it made sense to exit before Season 6.’
The 33-year-old reality star publicly criticized DiVello in May while she was doing the Call Her Daddy podcast.
During the interview, Quinn claimed that DiVello told her to ‘fall down the stairs’ after they got into a heated argument.
The real estate agent mentioned, ‘We have to look at what Adam DiVello has done as a whole, as a human being, as the person that he is.’
She also alleged that Selling Sunset’s creator told her to ‘go fall down the stairs and kill myself at one point.’
Selling Sunset is produced by Lionsgate and Done and Done Productions.
DiVello, Jason Oppenheim, Sundee Manusakis, Kristofer Lindquist, and Skyler Wakil all serve as the executive producers.
Additionally, a spin-off of the series titled, ‘Selling the OC’ is scheduled to premiere on 24th August on Netflix screens.
