On a TikTok live broadcast, Olsen recounted the terrifying events that unfolded, describing how he and his companion Cara found themselves amidst chaos caused by an altercation between two men.

The Incident

Chris Olsen revealed that the confrontation began when two men on the subway started arguing, leading to one of them pulling out a knife and stabbing the other. The escalating violence caused panic among the passengers. As Olsen described, the commotion erupted suddenly:

“The guy behind us starts rushing towards the guy in front of us, and every single person on the train gets up and starts running right at Cara and I because we’re near the end of the car.”

Chris Olsen explained how adrenaline and quick thinking allowed him to act in the moment. He managed to pry open the door connecting subway cars, a feat he described as using “untapped superhero strength.” Olsen led other passengers through the open door to safety, but the next car was locked, leaving them stranded between cars until the train came to an emergency stop.

The conductor eventually arrived with a key, unlocking the door to the next car. Passengers huddled there in fear for approximately 20 minutes before the train resumed its journey to the next station, where Olsen and others could finally disembark.
