Two women accused Chris Noth of sexual assault a week ago, which led to a lot of heat being aimed at him.
Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis, the actor’s former co-stars, have now issued a joint statement. They have expressed their concern following the controversy.
On Instagram, Sarah Jessica Parker and Cynthia Nixon combined their statements, while Kristin Davis shared the same message on Twitter. The trio received criticism for making such a weak response to the assault allegations on social media.
Earlier this year, the Hollywood Reporter published a story about Noth’s alleged sexual assaults of two women both in 2004 and 2015. In 2010, another woman also shared an incident dating back to the year in which the actor was charged with the same acts.
All the allegations against the actor have been considered categorically false by him.

Cynthia Nixon and Sarah Jessica Parker expressed their “deep sadness” for the women who have come forward with their painful experiences via their Instagram stories.
Having heard about the allegations against Chris Noth, they are deeply saddened. It is important to them that the women who have come forward to share their painful experiences are supported. “We know it must be a very difficult thing to do and we commend them for it.”
Kristin Davis, on the other hand, took to Twitter to post the same statement.
