While everyone has been left shocked by the reports claiming that Charlotte Tilbury ended their partnership with Bella Hadid, the cosmetic brand did cite a reason for the same. They stated “force majeure” as the reason behind the termination of the contract.
For those unfamiliar with the term “force majeure,” according to the Cornell Law School, it refers to a provision that releases both parties from any obligation if there is an “extraordinary event” preventing either party from taking action. However, the cosmetic brand did not specify the “extraordinary event” behind the termination of its contract with Bella Hadid.

Although Charlotte Tilbury has cited “force majeure” as the reason behind the termination of the contract between the cosmetic giant and Bella Hadid, fans haven’t been convinced by the given reason as the exact cause hasn’t been specified.
Some of the netizens, however, believe that the contract between the two may have been terminated after Bella publicly expressed her support for Palestine. The Israel-Hamas war has been a major issue as it has claimed many lives. Charlotte Tilbury, though, has not stated that this was the reason for ending the contract.
