Chance The Rapper appears to be responding to drama with his wife Kirsten Corley on Instagram by making jokes. On Friday (April 28), the Chicago rapper shared an Instagram Story of comedian Bill Burr discussing his own marriage during his standup act. I love my wife dearly. The snippet shows Burr saying that he loves everything about being married. But I’ll be honest, we do fight a lot. Every now and then, we argue. After five years of marriage, I’ve learned that we’re always working on me. Chance The Rapper and his wife have been in a sour relationship ever since a video went viral earlier this month showing him dutty winin’ on random women during Carnival in Jamaica.

On her Instagram Story, Corley highlighted a passage from acclaimed poet Maya Angelou in response to the videos. Growing up isn’t for most people. It’s too damn hard, it says. In most cases, people grow older. It’s the truth. Credit cards are honored, parking spaces are found, marriages are arranged, and children are born, but they do not grow up. No, not really. They grow older. Growing up costs the earth, the earth. It means taking responsibility for the time and space you occupy. It’s a serious matter. When you love and lose, dare and fail, you find out what it costs. To succeed, perhaps even more. Corley-Bennett added, One day, I hope we all choose to grow up in the caption.

Chance The Rapper Responds To Marriage Drama with His Wife Kirsten Corley

Chance The Rapper appeared to be making jokes about his relationship troubles with his wife Kirsten Corley on Instagram. An Instagram Story clip shared by the Chicago rapper on Friday (April 28) showed comedian Bill Burr talking about his marriage during a standup act. My wife is the love of my life. Burr says in the snippet that he loves everything about being married. However, I will tell you right now that we do fight a lot. There is always an argument between us. We are always working on me if I have learned anything in five years of marriage. The latest issue between Chance The Rapper and his wife appears to have begun after a video of him dutty winin’ on random women during Carnival went viral earlier this month. There was much attention paid to the rapper’s married status at the festival, and his interaction with the woman twerking on him was viewed as disrespectful.

A passage from acclaimed poet Maya Angelou was highlighted on Corley’s Instagram Story earlier this week in response to the videos on social media. It is rare for people to grow up. The task is too damn difficult. As people age, they tend to get older. This is the truth, the passage reads. They settle their credit cards, park in parking lots, get married, and have children, yet they never grow. As they age, their bodies change. Growing up costs the earth, the earth. By taking responsibility for your time, you are taking responsibility for your space. It’s a serious matter. We pay a high price to love and lose, to risk and fail. Perhaps even more importantly, the section ended. I hope one day, we will all choose to grow up, Chano’s wife captioned the post. Additionally, Chano announced he will perform a concert to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Acid Rap. It was in 2013 that Chance and Corley-Bennett began dating, and in 2015 that they welcomed their first child. They married in 2019 and Corley-Bennett gave birth to their second child in 2019.
