Acclaimed makeup artist Laney Chantal was found dead earlier this week from an accidental drug overdose. She was 33 years old.

Laney Chantal’s cause of death explored
Laney Chantal whose real name was Alaina Chantal Parkhurst tragically passed away on Monday 31st October in Milford, Michigan.
Moreover, her family broke the news of her death after confirming it in a public obituary.
While Chantal’s family did not provide much information about her death, they did reveal that she died due to an accidental drug overdose.
They cited that the well-known artist, ‘struggled with various mental illnesses throughout her adult life.’
Besides that, she has been struggling with mental health-related issues for quite a few years. Furthermore, she had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and was battling her addiction to drugs.
Regardless, the Parkhurst family has launched a fundraiser in her memory with the raised amount to be donated to The Brain and Behavior Research Foundation. It is a non-profit venture established to promote research on mental health.
Laney Chantal’s friends and family mourn her death
Fellow makeup artist Gabriella Accarino pens a heartfelt tribute for her late friend, Laney Chantal.
She wrote, ‘Laney was more than a best friend. She was my sister and soulmate.’
Moreover, she added, ‘She was a genuine, sensitive, talented, and beautiful soul. We communicated with each other without saying a word. It was the most profound connection I have felt with someone.’

She wrote, ‘Laney’s art and her spirit are irreplaceable, and she made the world a better place.’
Accarino went on to recall, ‘My last memory with her was riding on four-wheelers in Michigan until sunset. You deserved the world, and you were loved by so many people. You forever changed my life and taught me, unconditional love.’

She concluded her message with, ‘You were a gift in my life, and I will cherish every moment I spent with you. I will carry you in my heart forever, Laney. I know that we will meet again.’
Additionally, Chantal’s former husband expressed his pain and sadness over the heartbreaking news.
He said, ‘There are no words to describe the grief I’m experiencing and far too many to describe the joy that you’ve brought into a dark world. I am mourning your sudden loss, but if grief is the price we pay for the love and happiness we once shared, this pain is worth it.’
