Though Cardi B did work on the remix, it seems she didn’t find it suitable for release. Recently, Cardi B discussed this during her conversation at 360 with Speedy Mormon, explaining why her remix of “Munch” was never released.

Recently, Cardi B appeared on the popular conversation series, “360 with Speedy Mormon.” During the show, Cardi revealed details about her remix of Ice Spice’s “Munch.” She explained why she decided not to release her version of the song.

She said, “I did do something for Ice Spice, but I just didn’t like how it sounded.” She added, “I love the record. I didn’t like how I sounded. You know, being on a drill beat, it’s not as easy as it looks. I just feel like, ‘Oh my God… They’re gonna drag me, and they’re going to drag the song badly.'”

When Mormon asked Cardi B about her collaboration on “Shake It” with Kay Flock being good on a drill beat, Cardi responded, “That was a little bit more my speed because it was a little bit more aggressive.”

She added “The record is already great. I don’t want to f### it up. I just hated my verse. I hated my verse.” While the song may not be coming out now, Cardi B recently released her new single, “Enough (Miami),” on the 15th of March for all her fans.
