The beef between Cardi B and City Girls‘ JT seemingly began after the latter congratulated rapper GloRilla for the success of her song, Tomorrow 2.
However, JT failed to mention the 29-year-old rapper, who features in the song.
Furthermore, JT whose real name is Jatavia Shakara Johnson was called out for not including the Bodak Yellow hitmaker in the message.

Nevertheless, everything supposedly went south after a random tweet from Cardi that read, ‘Lapdog.’
JT directly addressed the mother of two in her following subtweet.
She claimed, ‘I hope you don’t think you no BULLY! Cardi, you go fetch a real talent! We DM’ing why you come back here to put on a show for these KIDS?’

The 29-year-old singer on the other defended herself against Cardi’s accusations in a follow-up tweet.

On 25th September, Cardi B made headlines for trading shots with Akbar V on social media.
However, later Akbar V suggested that the Bronx rapper contacted her through her cell phone number.
She said, ‘Who gave this ho cardi b my number? Gotta be one of y’all weird ass hoes?’
Additionally, she threatened to expose her text exchange with Cardi B on social media.
The New York native responded to Akbar V’s claim by writing, ‘If we said what we say on the phone why to keep texting me after and going to the internet?’
