Cardi B claims her new collaboration with Offset is not a “stunt,” and that Tasha K initiated the “trolling” by making up stories about the relationship. Cardi B addressed the critics today after releasing the cover art for her collaborative duet with hubby Offset, “JEALOUSY.” Offset teased the tune earlier this week with a humorous promotional video. In his cinematic teaser, he reenacted a James Brown interview while addressing the rumored “drama” between him and Cardi B. Last month, the couple made news when the “Clout” singer claimed his wife of cheating on him. Despite the online turmoil, they looked to patch things up and move on.

Fans, however, accused Offset and Cardi B of staging the issue as a “stunt” to promote their next single. After unveiling the single’s cover image on Wednesday (July 26), the Grammy Award winner announced she was on the track. It shows Cardi pushing her spouse in the face while storming away from him. Meanwhile, Cardi B is still desperate to make Tasha K pay for a slander lawsuit she lost last year. In 2019, she was awarded $4 million in damages after suing the blogger for defamation, invasion of privacy, and intentional infliction of mental distress. Cardi B is reportedly requesting access to Tasha K’s financial documents ahead of an August 9 hearing.

Cardi B addressed the critics today after releasing the cover art for her collaborative duet with hubby Offset, “JEALOUSY.” Offset shared a video on Instagram on Monday promoting his new tune, which is slated to be released on Friday. Offset mimics one of the oddest interviews ever taped, James Brown’s famous CNN interview from 1988. Offset, on the other hand, utilizes the video to address recent tension with his wife Cardi B. Last month, the couple made news when the “Clout” singer blamed his wife of cheating on him. Despite the online turmoil, they appeared to patch things up and move on. Fans, however, accused Offset and Cardi B of staging the issue as a “stunt” to promote their next single. After unveiling the single’s cover image on Wednesday (July 26), the Grammy Award winner announced she was on the track.

She denied fabricating any relationship difficulties and accused blogger Tasha K of fabricating lies about the couple. “There was no STUNT…Tasha K made something up, and yall were laughing and happy as hell about it,” Cardi responded. “Now that we’ve incorporated it in the song, it’s a stunt… Be upset with the person who started trolling with it, sweetheart.” “THEY COOCHIE WAS SO WET WHEN THE LIE WAS GOING AROUND NOW it’s a different narrative when we put it in the music….OOOO IM POPPIN IT ON THIS SONG!!!!” Cardi said on Twitter. Meanwhile, Cardi B is still desperate to make Tasha K pay for a slander lawsuit she lost last year. In 2019, she was awarded $4 million in damages after suing the blogger for defamation, invasion of privacy, and intentional infliction of mental distress.
