Although Cardi B believes that she is worth more than  $40 million, she still feels the cost of increasing prices while complaining about $6 lettuce.

Here is everything you need to know.

Cardi B complains about soaring grocery prices

Cardi B took to her Twitter handle on 3rd January Tuesday evening to express her outrage over the increasing price of grocery shopping.

Moreover, she complained about the amount she paid to eat her salad. She further said that the cost of grocery shopping can even be compared to eating out.

She wrote, ‘Naaaaaa grocery shopping prices are ridiculous right now. You might as well eat outside !!’

Meanwhile, it appears like the Bodak Yellow singer was returning from a trip to the store where she was shocked to learn the cost of lettuce.

She continued, ‘B*tch why lettuce cost 6 dollars where I live at?’

Besi that, some fans joined the rapper in the comment section of the post to bemoan about the increasing prices while others noted that they are not in the same income bracket.

Cardi B says that she is worth more than $40 million

Cardi B schooled a fan who criticized her wealth on social media in December 2022.

The exchange stemmed when the singer tweeted, ‘We going through a recession…..Merry Christmas.’

However, the message forced a fan to clap back at her by saying, ‘Says the rapper worth 40 million.’

Unsurprisingly, Cardi B was not going to take that shade. Hence, she went on to point out that she is worth more than $40 million.

She said  ‘I’m worth more [than] that and guess what? If I don’t save, work and budget I could lose it too!’

In addition, she continued, ‘What makes you think that no matter how much money you got you can’t lose it all if you don’t manage your money correctly? I too have bills, responsibilities, and people I have to help.’

Meanwhile, it seems like the Hot Sh** musician was not lying about an impending recession.

Kristalina Georgieva, the chief of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) issued a warning earlier this week while talking with CNN Business.

She claimed that 2023 will be difficult for the global economy.

Georgieva said, ‘The three big economies, US, EU, China, are all slowing down simultaneously.’

Additionally, she continued, ‘We expect one-third of the world economy to be in recession.’

Besides that, Cardi B is reportedly gearing up to drop her long-in-the-works sophomore album sometime in 2023.
