Cardi B and Nicole Arbour BEEF Explained Over Offset Accusation
5 min readGetty Images
It appears Cardi B and comedian Nicole Arbour are feuding over an accusation Nicole made about her husband, Offset. Cardi B replied to Nicole Arbour’s tweet on 27th November, in which she accused Offset of recording new music about killing people and shooting up places. As Cardi B mentioned, Offset was dressed up as the Joker in a new snippet she posted to her Instagram Stories, rapping along to the lyrics, Catch a body broad day/Shoot ’em in the hallway. Although the video’s exact date is unclear, Offset dressed as the Joker for Halloween this year, so it’s assumed that it was recorded before or on October 31 of this year. In a tragic turn of events, Takeoff died on 1st November.
Man… few weeks after his cousin was murdered over a dice game… Offset’s making new music about shooting people and shooting places up.

Not a single thing was learned. 😔
A man was murdered over a dice game a few weeks after his cousin, Nicole Arbour wrote in her first tweet. The new music Offset is making involves shooting people and shooting places up. The lesson learned was nothing. Cardi B questioned Nicole Arbour’s motives by pointing out Offset has not recorded new music since Takeoff’s death in a since-deleted tweet, per HotNewHipHop. Nicole Arbour then countered with a video of Offset as the Joker for Halloween, which he posted before Takeoff passed away. In response, Cardi B continued to tweet at Nicole Arbour but deleted most of her comments. This prompted the comedian to ask if she planned to beat me up in a strip club now cause the truth is inconvenient to you?
My bad y’all… @iamcardib just posted this and I was sure it was Offset rapping about murder with a fake gun.
Honestly, my bad if that’s not what this video is. pic.twitter.com/EA3tJbu7Sr— Nicole Arbour (@NicoleArbour) November 27, 2022Advertisement
Cardi B Calls Out Canadian Comedian Nicole Arbour Over Criticising Content Of Offset’s Music Amid Takeoff’s Passing
In response to Offset’s rap lyrics, Cardi B exchanged Twitter blows with comedian Nicole Arbour on Sunday. Arbour claimed Cardi highlighted on her Instagram Story a song about “shooting people and shooting places up” weeks after Takeoff’s death. She posted an undated video of Offset dressed as the Joker while singing along to the lyrics of his song. There’s a set rap: Catch a body on a broad day/Shoot ’em in the hallway. It is unclear when the actual song was recorded. Migos member did dress up as Heath Ledger this past Halloween ahead of Takeoff’s passing on 1st November. As if to provoke Offset, Arbour posted on Twitter: Man… few weeks after his cousin was murdered over a dice game… Offset makes music about shooting people and shooting places. There was not a single thing learned. She responded with a slew of now-deleted tweets after getting angry and taken back by the Canadian-American comedian. Aside from being an anti-vaxxer and supporting Kyrie Irving’s recent anti-Semitic comments, Arbour posted a Hollywood Unlocked post in which Cardi discussed the situation, where she highlighted an alleged Facebook post from Arbour urging people to “arm themselves and shoot” during the 2019 Black Lives Matter protests.

Even if that video was made before it happened, you STILL don’t see what’s happening?
When u promote senseless violence in a community, you GET senseless violence in a community
It’s sad af that all these young guys are dying, something has to CHANGE.
Your brother in law was just murdered and you’re posting videos about killing people… still!?!? Like still!?!?
— Nicole Arbour (@NicoleArbour) November 27, 2022
How aren’t you getting it yet?
This ain’t a joke, this is real talk. You are a damn leader and you can make change in the NAME of Takeoff. https://t.co/v6HpaPievd
It is reported that she wrote, “The looters are organized into packs, and they WILL beat and kill you without remorse.” Her post is about protesters. This is about the riots. I pray that God has mercy on the United States of America. As part of the post, Cardi included an alleged tweet written by Arbour, which states, They’re lynching white people. Nicole Arbour has denied the comments are real, claiming that he is trying to defend the killing of black men as “ok.” In 2018, Nicole Arbour was criticized for saying she was “so sick” of people who were mad at slavery. Also, she released an edited version of Childish Gambino’s “This Is America” that received criticism. It comes as Cardi opens up about how difficult it has been for Offset to lose Takeoff. Everything is fine, but deep down inside our hearts are heavy,” she said in a Twitter audio post. The thought of making my husband happy, of making him smile, has been so frustrating to me.
Yo wait. Did @iamcardib just threaten to murder my mom over a tweet about not promoting violence?

Is this real life? pic.twitter.com/qDWi6VgGvF
Yo @iamcardib you gonna send some guys to beat me up in a strip club now cause the truth is inconvenient to you??
— Nicole Arbour (@NicoleArbour) November 28, 2022
Or just drug me and steal my money?
Show some damn respect and stop promoting the murder of black men.
The fact you trying to use the death of some1 I love to get clout is crazy …..I’m not going to do none of that ….I’m just going to pray for you. https://t.co/CccbXhEdjp
— Cardi B (@iamcardib) November 28, 2022
The fact that you think it’s about that is crazy.
— Nicole Arbour (@NicoleArbour) November 28, 2022
You continue to promote the exact thing that traumatized your family.
By doing that… by glorifying and edifying the murder of black men, it’s gonna keep happening! https://t.co/gwRxkdi031
