Tyler, the Creator has announced the highly anticipated lineup for the 2024 edition of his Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival, set to take place at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on November 16-17, 2024. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, this year’s festival promises to be bigger and better, featuring 44 performers, including Tyler himself debuting his new album Chromakopia. Fans can also expect appearances from some of the hottest names in hip-hop, R&B, and alternative music.

The lineup reveal came in a creative way, with a crossword puzzle posted on the festival’s website, challenging fans to uncover the names of the performing artists. Once solved, the list confirmed exciting acts like Playboi Carti, Sexyy Red, and André 3000, who will perform songs from his new album New Blue Sun. Tyler, the Creator, known for his elaborate performances, is set to headline, delivering tracks from his new album Chromakopia for the first time.

A Stellar Lineup

Aside from Tyler’s headline performance, the Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival will feature a range of artists representing various genres. Regulars such as Vince Staples, Earl Sweatshirt, Domo Genesis, and Denzel Curry are set to return, while new faces like Doechii, Kaytranada, DJ Mustard, and Sexyy Red will add fresh energy to the festival. Fans of R&B will also be treated to performances by Erykah Badu, Daniel Caesar, and Omar Apollo.

Notably, the festival will honor the late legendary rapper MF DOOM with a tribute performance titled FM MOOD, presented by his estate in collaboration with Metalface Records and Rhymesayers Entertainment. This homage is sure to be a highlight for longtime fans of the influential artist.

Other confirmed performers include The Alchemist & Friends, Action Bronson, Blood Orange, Syd, The Marías, Faye Webster, Sampha, and ScHoolboy Q, along with emerging talents like Tommy Richman, Amelia Moore, and Laila!. The eclectic mix of artists ensures that there will be something for everyone at this two-day music extravaganza.

The Festival Experience

Originally launched in 2012, Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival has grown into one of the most celebrated music festivals, known for its unique blend of music, carnival games, and rides. After expanding into a two-day event in 2016, the festival has hosted performances from major stars like Drake, SZA, Lana Del Rey, and Kendrick Lamar. However, the 2024 edition is expected to set a new bar, especially with Tyler, the Creator performing his new material live.

Despite Tyler telling fans at last year’s event that he wouldn’t be releasing new music anytime soon, he surprised everyone by announcing his new album Chromakopia ahead of its October 28 release. The first single, “St. Chroma,” has already generated buzz, and fans eagerly await to hear more during his festival set.
