Gold was discovered under an overpass on the eastbound 210 Freeway in Rancho Cucamonga just before midnight on Friday. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) received 911 calls about a pedestrian down in the carpool lane, where they found at least one vehicle had struck Gold and left the scene.
