According to recent news, BTS member J-hope has been promoted to the position of assistant instructor for new recruits in the army.

BTS’ J-hope gets promoted as an assistant instructor
BTS member J-hope who is presently serving in the South Korean military was reportedly given a promotion to assistant instructor.
Moreover, he is likely to provide instructions to the new recruits at his training center, located at the prestigious 36th Infantry Division Recruit Training Center in Wonju, Gangwon Province.
In addition, this comes after Kim Seokjin (also known as Jin), another member of BTS, was selected for the position of assistant instructor for the 5th Infantry Division in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province.
Nevertheless, army officials have confirmed the news of the rapper taking the role of an assistant instructor.

As per a South Korean news agency, J-hope will need to undergo an educational qualification certification evaluation before he is allowed to start the duties.
BigHit Music, the company that represents BTS, released a statement to reply to the fans’ ongoing enthusiasm for the news.
They stated, ‘Please understand that it is difficult to confirm.’
Meanwhile, J-hope is trying his best to express his gratitude towards his fans after he joined the military.
He took to his Weverse account after he completed the intense basic military training course on 24th April to show his heartfelt appreciation.
He admitted, ‘Everyone in the ARMY!!! I have completed it (training) well. The letters and support that you have all sent have been a great help, that’s why I was able to work hard while receiving training!!!.’
The rapper continued, ‘I will continue to work hard and show you the good sides of me during the rest of my time when I’ll be wearing the uniform! I love you!!’
