Jason Alexander claimed Britney Spears’s podcast compelled him to sign legal documents
In July 2021, Alexander claimed on the Toxic: The Britney Spears Story podcast. That the pop star’s entourage compelled him to sign legal documents dissolving their brief marriage. “They told me that if I signed the paperwork – the annulment. They would let Britney Spears and me keep our relationship continuing. And if we felt the same way in six months, they would grant us a genuine marriage,” he said. “There was no reason for me to believe anything otherwise.” That was the truth, I assumed. Britney Spears and I were still allowed to converse on the phone.
So we chatted every day, and I still believed the story. That they would allow us to continue chatting and ultimately married. If we felt the same way in the future.” Britney Spears and Asghari have yet to comment on their wedding or the Alexander incident in public.
