Toxic singer Britney Spears mentions her wish to remix Beyoncé’s ‘Daddy Lessons’ alongside Jay-Z. Is a Britney Spears-Jay-Z collaboration on the cards? Not entirely, but the “Circus” singer is working hard to make it possible. Spears offered a version of Beyoncé’s “Daddy Lessons” with a new rap verse by Jay-Z in the description of a picture posted to Instagram on Monday (Oct. 9). “Daddy Lessons” is a country track originating from Beyoncé’s Lemonade album. When the album was released in April 2016, the track debuted at No. 41 on the Hot 100 chart on Billboard. A remix of the song featuring The Chicks came out following that year, as well as the Texas natives delivered the track at the 50th annual Country Music Association Awards. This isn’t the very first time Spears has resorted to Instagram to express her admiration for another music icon.

A month ago, the toxic singer uploaded a video of herself performing knife choreography inspired by Shakira’s Video Vanguard appearances at the 2023 MTV VMA.  Spears changed the video’s caption when more individuals voiced concern about the blades: “I began playing in the kitchen with knives today!!!” Don’t worry, these aren’t real knives!!! “Halloween is practically here!!!” The video quickly went viral on the internet, sparking concerns about Spears’ well-being and leading the Ventura County sheriff’s department to do a health check on the singer. After establishing with “two independent individuals who closely knew [Spears]” that she was having a sound mind, Captain Dean Worthy stated, “We did our due diligence in confirming her well-being and ultimately weren’t convinced she was in any harm whatsoever.” Spears responded on Instagram, accusing the health check of being intended “power for the cops.”

Britney Spears has revealed that she is going to “remix” Beyoncé’s country track titled “Daddy Issues” as well as expressed her wish that Jay-Z to pitch in a verse to the remix. While Plies has had a crush on Britney Spears for a while, the pop diva is currently setting her sights on a different rapper for a dream duet. On Sunday (October 8), the “Circus” singer shared footage of herself swaying to Beyoncé’s “Daddy Lessons” alongside a proposition for Jay-Z on Instagram. Spears gyrates as well as twirls around in her typical low-rise trousers while emphasising her bandaged finger in the since-deleted video. “So many people have remixed my tracks despite my knowledge,” she wrote in the caption. “So I believe it’s reasonable to state that I will be recreating this song eventually !!!” Britney Spears, on the other hand, is reluctant to cover the song alone; she wants Jay-Z to contribute a verse to her remix. “I simply have to connect with Jay-Z and add a rap to it,” she continued. “What’s up ???” However he has yet to openly respond, Jay-Z is a fan, having gone to a Britney Spears show in Las Vegas with his wife Beyoncé.

According to Page Six, the “Cuff It” hitmaker wanted Spears to feature in a music video. The video, nevertheless, never materialised. Meanwhile, Plies is still obsessed with Spears, uploading another of her dance videos on Instagram on Monday (October 9). This isn’t the first instance Spears has resorted to Instagram to express her admiration for another music icon. Last month, Britney shared a video of herself carrying out knife choreography inspired by Shakira’s Video Vanguard shows at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards. Spears changed the video’s caption when numerous individuals voiced concern about the kitchen knives in the video: “I started having fun in the kitchen with knives today!!!” Don’t worry, these aren’t real knives!!! “Halloween is nearly here!!!” The video became viral quickly, igniting concerns about Spears’ well-being and prompted the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office to carry out a wellness check.
