Boosie BadAzz, an American rapper, was captured by federal officials only seconds after successfully fleeing a firearms charge. According to TMZ, the Baton Rouge-born singer was detained outside of a San Diego, California courthouse on Wednesday, June 14, 2023. According to a San Diego County District Attorney’s office representative, the Youngest of da Camp singer appeared in court for ongoing firearms matter resulting from an arrest in early May. When Boosie was detained and jailed on four charges, he was supposedly making a video with rapper Bully Three.

In May, the 40-year-old singer was arrested for handgun possession, concealed/carrying a weapon in a vehicle, ammunition possession by a banned person, and unlisted owner of a registered firearm. He was freed on bond later that night and went to his notorious show, when he ordered his supporters to scream “f*ck San Diego police” and subsequently was heard yelling, “S*ck my d*ck you b*tches.”As his gun case was dropped, federal authorities carried out their intentions to arrest him. However, the details behind his current detention have not been made public. As word of his arrest spread, the Wipe Me Down singer apologised to his children and reminded them of his love.

‘Wipe Me Down’ Rapper Boosie Arrested? The Rapper Confronts Federal Authorities Again After A Court Hearing

Following a court hearing, federal authorities apprehended Boosie BadAzz. Boosie BadAzz was detained outside of a San Diego, California, courthouse on Wednesday (June 14). According to TMZ, the Baton Rouge, Louisiana rapper was nabbed shortly after a court hearing linked to a pending gun accusation arising from a traffic encounter last month. Ironically, Boosie’s day started off extremely nicely, since the charges for which the hearing was convened were actually dropped. However, with that case concluded, it looks like Boosie BadAzz is about to get smacked with another. While the reasons of the arrest remain unknown, a spokesman for Boosie BadAzz confirmed the arrest and issued an official statement to XXL on his behalf. The statement from Boosie BadAzz’s management states, “Boosie BadAzz asks for prayers as he deals with this unfortunate circumstance in his life.” He hopes to see his family soon and believes that God has his back. Following that, Boosie apologised to his family on Twitter on Wednesday evening. I’d want to use this opportunity to apologise to my children, tweeted Boosie BadAzz. I apologise, and I will always adore you.

The news of Boosie BadAzz getting arrested by the feds comes just one day after the “F**k the Police” rapper revealed on Instagram Live his sudden ambition to become a defence attorney while attending YNW Melly’s double murder trial. Torrence Ivy Hatch Jr., sometimes known as Boosie BadAzz, has had multiple run-ins with the authorities. He was detained by East Baton Rouge sheriff’s officers in October 2008 for possession of marijuana and a Glock. By September 2009, he had been detained a third time for marijuana possession, earning him a two-year jail sentence. After he was found guilty of breaking his probation while awaiting sentencing, the sentence was later quadrupled. On June 17, 2010, the rapper was charged with killing Terry Boyd, as well as many drug-related crimes, and faced the death penalty. The jury eventually found him not guilty. However, he faced up to eight years in jail for the drug-ring charge. His legal team established that the allegations were fabricated in December 2012, and he was released in March 2014 but remained on parole until 2018.
