Bobby Brown recently revealed that he is looking forward to hitting the road with his New Edition brothers. However, he is certainly not excited about Whitney Houston’s upcoming biopic.

Bobby Brown shares his plans for 2023

Bobby Brown is gearing up to get on the road for his new world tour next year alongside the R&B/Pop group New Edition.

TMZ recently caught Brown at the Los Angeles Airport on Wednesday where he was more than happy to spill the tea on the band’s upcoming performances.

If you didn’t know, New Edition made its debut in the ’80s and included Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, Ronnie DeVoe, Ralph Tresvant, and Brown. But later they added Johnny Gill to the lineup.

Nevertheless, the group has faced multiple ups and down such as Brown leaving the band to start his solo career.

However, the 53-year-old rapper told the media outlet that their brotherhood is too strong to let these setbacks divide them.

Meanwhile, New Edition is undeniably one of the most popular R&B groups of all time. In addition, they have been together for almost 40 years. 

Moreover, the members have had success outside the group as well. For instance, a solo hit songs by Brown, Tresvant as well as Gill.

Bobby Brown is not eager for Whitney Houston’s biopic

While talking with TMZ, Bobby Brown also expressed that he is certainly not anticipating Whitney Houston’s upcoming biopic ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody.’

The movie will possibly document his turbulent life with Houston in the ’90s.

Moreover, Brown added that he had no involvement in the film. Hence, he cannot judge the performance of actor Ashton Sanders.

If you didn’t know, Sanders is going to act as Brown in the upcoming film. 

Meanwhile, the trailer for Houston’s biopic is out now. In the teaser, we can hear people saying, that her music ‘isn’t black enough.’

However, the legendary was not the one to back down. Hence, she can be heard arguing, ‘That’s just bull. I’ve heard this my whole life. How about she isn’t fearful enough? How about she isn’t obedient enough?’

The video further includes glimpses of Houston getting married, enjoying the time on stage as well as the time when she felt betrayed by her father.

Moreover, the film is all set to hit the theatre screens on 23rd December 2022 with Naomi Ackie portraying the role of the legendary singer who passed away in 2012.
