Bob Saget Autopsy: Medical Examiner Reveals Cause Of Death

Bob Saget’s autopsy results are out. Dr Anthony reveals that the actor must have slipped in the bathroom which led to injuries on his head. He passed away on January 9, 2022, at a hotel in Florida.

Bob Saget’s Death

The 65-year-old actor was found dead in a hotel room at Ritz Carlton Hotel in Orlando during his tour. The investigation by the police and medical examiners revealed that the actor’s death was due to head trauma. According to sources, Bob Saget sustained head trauma when his head was struck at the back. The head trauma ultimately resulted in his death. Previously it was unclear what hit him.

Bob Saget’s Autopsy Results Explained

Bob Saget’s autopsy results are out. According to the reports, the actor must have slipped in the bathroom of his hotel room which led to severe injuries on his head. Dr Anthony Harris, Chief Medical Director for HFit Heath has been at the forefront of the late actor’s autopsy process. He said that autopsy results revealed that he had a fractured skull. Moreover, blood on both sides of his brain indicated the severity of the fracture in his skill.

Dr Anthony Harris further explained that means the injury was quite significant. This means that the damage did not just affect his skull. It adversely affected the functioning of his brain. Early February autopsy results indicated that he suffered an accidental blow to the head, abrasions on his scalp and a fracture at the base of his skull. Moreover he even had fractures around his eye sockets, and a blood clot on his brain. Dr further revealed that it takes a significant amount of force to fracture thicker parts of one’s skull. In addition, he mentioned that he believes these fractures at the base of his skull and around his eye sockets must have taken a lot of force for them to even occur.

Late Actor Might Have Had Two Falls

Dr Anthony Harris concluded that the late actor must have had two falls for these kinds of fractures to occur. The skull of his head may have fractured because he hit the front of his head, or slipped forward. If that is the case, then the effect of colliding with his head may have caused him to recoil backward. Then he may have struck the back of his head on another object – maybe a bathtub or the floor – causing dual brain trauma.

Police reports previously revealed that Bob Saget died as he hit his head against the headboard. Moreover, this led to him losing consciousness and passing away during his sleep. The doctor acknowledged that possibility, but claimed that there is a greater likelihood that he suffered the head trauma elsewhere in the room before climbing into bed in a state of altered senses, or confusion, where he later died.
