Jennie of BLACKPINK opened up about the physical and mental health problems encountered in the competitive world of K-pop industry.

Netizens have become more aware of the industry’s darker side as time has passed, and idols have not been shy about disclosing some of the difficulties they’ve faced.

Jennie from BLACKPINK is one of the celebrities who has recently spoken out about her struggles.

BLACKPINK is the third female band to beautify the cover of Rolling Stone. Furthermore, each member has a unique story to tell, and Jennie looked stunning in her photos taken. She answered questions about her work other subjects.

What did Jennie say in a Rolling Stone interview about the deceptive world of K-pop?

Jennie was asked about one of her most pressing concerns during the interview. It’s no surprise that the idol said, “These days, I wonder how I’m going to stay healthy?”

It became especially important to Jennie after their final tour concluded in 2020, she explained. She clarified that she had never explained why to her fans because she did not want them to be concerned. But now she felt it was appropriate.

“I became ill, both mentally and physically, after the last world tour ended [in 2020].” “I don’t want to give too much information to the fans,” she explained.

But, while Jennie did not go into great detail about her love for BLINKs, she did mention that it was a difficult time since the team was always occupied, and it came crashing down on all of the members.

It appeared to have a strong physical effect on Jennie in particular. Because they were so young, the band didn’t know how to look after themselves during this time. As a result of her travels, Jennie’s immune system was impaired.

The hit K-pop artist said that all the band members, who were all in their early twenties at the time, hustled as much as they could in their early years, according to the Solo singer. Along with other bad habits, disrupted sleep and erratic eating cycles became the norm. This went on for a long time.

The formative years are vital for a newbie idol group. To avoid getting lost in the void, the market requires that groups provide content, particularly music, on a regular basis. Variety shows, vlogs, and online series take a backseat, but filming is still required on a regular basis.

Jennie’s take on mental illness?

BLACKPINK’s Jennie responded affirmatively when asked if she has ever sought support from others. “It’s incredibly important to remain healthy,” she added. She even said that her immune system had weakened so much on the trip that she was getting allergic reactions to things she had only touched. Jennie understands that a healthy body equals a happier Jennie in 2022.

However, this isn’t the first time Jennie has spoken about her struggles. She and Lisa discussed the most difficult times they had as trainees in the group interview. “We were on survival mode,” Jennie said in the interview, comparing the process of becoming an idol to a survival show.

Jennie appears to have figured out the finest ways to maintain her mind and body healthy during hectic schedules ahead of their return.
