Whose record did Beyoncé break?
Beyoncé won the Grammys awards in four categories. Moreover, it included Best Dance/Electronic Album, Best Dance/Electronic Recording, Best Traditional R&B Performance, and Best R&B Song.
Hence, the 41-year-old singer currently holds 32 Grammys under her name. In addition, she surpassed Georg Solti, who previously held the record by winning 31 Grammys.
Beyoncé, whose full name is Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter, was nominated for the Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best R&B Performance, and Best Song Written for Social Media.
Furthermore, most of Beyoncé’s nominations were due to her recent album titled Renaissance which dropped on 29th July 2022.

Meanwhile, the Single Ladies did not forget to express her gratitude towards her parents, husband, and three children following her win. She also thanked the queer community for loving her latest album.
She said, ‘I’m trying not to be too emotional and I’m trying to just receive this night. I want to thank God for protecting me. … I’d like to thank my uncle Johnny, who’s not here, but he’s here in spirit.’
Beyoncé added, ‘I’d like to thank my parents, my father, my mother, for loving me, for pushing me. I’d like to thank my beautiful husband, and my beautiful children who are watching at home.’
Beyoncé is gearing up for her Renaissance World Tour
Beyoncé’s upcoming tour is in support of her positively acclaimed latest album Renaissance.
Additionally, the event is slated to kick off on 10th May 2023 at Stockholm-based Friends Arena.
Beyoncé took to her Instagram handle earlier this month to announce details about her upcoming tour.
In addition, the hip-hop singer is all set to perform at multiple locations for her upcoming tour. It includes cities such as Brussels, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Sunderland, London, and Barcelona, among many more.
Besides that, Beyoncé is aiming to provide help to underserved communities that are active in the places where her show will be held.
Meanwhile, the pre-sale of the tour began on 2nd February 2023 for the O2 fans. Live Nation on the other hand planned a pre-sale the following day. It went on to witness more than 400,000 customers waiting in a queue in the hopes to grab their tickers.
