Bethenny Frankel is defending her BFF Raquel Leviss. Dave Portnoy stated that after calling the former “Vanderpump Rules” star a “trash bag” in an exclusive statement to Page Six, the “Real Housewives of New York City” alum texted him and requested him to apologise. “Why? “Is there anything I said about her that no one else has said a million times?” he asked during his “BFFs” podcast on Wednesday. He never acknowledged whether or not he apologised, but his tone suggested that it was doubtful. Rumors circulated last week that the Barstool Sports founder, 46, as well as Leviss, 29, were dating when they happened to be in the small town of Cary, Ill., at the same time.
The relationship rumors began after Portnoy’s ex-girlfriend, Colombian model Silvana Mojica, allegedly stated they had broken up after dating for more than two years. According to Page Six, he confirmed the breakup rumors, stating, “It’s kinda wild when I just had a breakup, which is enough of a struggle to go through without hearing I f—ked that lady [Leviss].” The “trash bag” remark has not been addressed publicly by Leviss. The former beauty pageant queen met Frankel, 53, during her first post-Scandoval interview on the “Just B” podcast during the summer.

Despite facing backlash for providing Leviss a platform, Frankel defended her decision before inviting her to a star-studded dinner at the Hotel Bel-Air in October. Leviss surprised Bravo fans in March when it emerged that she was having an affair with co-star Tom Sandoval, who was in a long-term relationship with Ariana Madix at the time. Madix, 38, has since relocated and is now dating fitness trainer Daniel Wai. Leviss and Sandoval, both 40, appear to be single, although the TomTom co-owner appears to have returned to the dating scene.
