Bebe Rexha, the acclaimed pop singer known for her hit “I’m Good,” recently took to social media to blast her former collaborator, G-Eazy. Rexha, 34, accused the rapper of doing “sh*tty things” to her and referred to him as an “ungrateful loser.” The scathing comments came in response to a suggestion from her team about working with G-Eazy again, a proposal that Rexha vehemently rejected.
In an Instagram Story that has since been deleted, Bebe Rexha shared a screenshot of a text conversation with her team. The messages showed someone named Joanna asking if Rexha would be open to shooting content with G-Eazy while in New York. Addressing the rapper directly, she wrote, “You have my number. Why don’t you text me and ask me yourself you stuck up ungrateful loser.” She continued, “You’re lucky people are liking you again. Cause I could go in on all the sh*tty things you’ve done and how you treated me after giving you your only real hit. Btw the answer is no. Hope you good.”

Rexha also took to Twitter, where she retweeted a photo of herself and Halsey from January 13 with a caption that read, “Bebe Rexha and Halsey talking about how they carried G-Eazy’s career.” This post further emphasized her discontent with the rapper, highlighting her belief that their collaboration on “Me, Myself & I” significantly boosted his career.
The song, released in 2015, remains G-Eazy’s most-streamed track on Spotify, boasting over 1.2 billion streams. Its recent resurgence on TikTok has only increased its popularity, making Rexha’s grievances particularly timely.
Rexha’s outburst is not the first time she has expressed frustration with G-Eazy. In a 2018 appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” with Andy Cohen, she shared her surprise and disappointment when G-Eazy invited Britney Spears to perform her chorus during an awards show without informing her. Rexha described feeling upset but noted that meeting Spears, one of her idols, somewhat alleviated her frustration.
Someone from my team had me take down my Instagram story. I decided to remove it because it felt very negative and toxic. Sometimes trauma can lead us to react that way, and that period of my life was traumatizing. I am writing this because I regret taking it down and I want to…

Following the deleted Instagram Story, Bebe Rexha issued a statement explaining her actions. She admitted that her initial post was “very negative and toxic” but affirmed that her feelings were rooted in past trauma. “Sometimes trauma can lead us to react that way, and that period of my life was traumatizing,” she wrote. “I am writing this because I regret taking it down and I want to say that I still stand by what I said.”
The pop star also detailed the origins of “Me, Myself & I” in a recent video, explaining how she initially wrote it as a club track titled “I Don’t Need Anything” about her love for music. She recalled how she sought to collaborate with G-Eazy through industry connections, eventually leading to the song’s creation.
Despite the success of their collaboration, Rexha’s comments suggest a tumultuous working relationship with G-Eazy. As of now, the rapper has not publicly responded to Rexha’s accusations. Representatives for both artists have yet to comment on the matter, leaving fans and the music industry to speculate on the fallout from Rexha’s candid revelations.
