Netizens recently ruffled the feathers of Baywatch star Donna D’Errico after she took to Instagram to share a series of her photos in a bikini.
The trolls come after she posted a clip of herself in an American flag-themed bikini to celebrate Independence Day on the Fourth of July.
D’Errico is seen flaunting her curves as she strikes a couple of hot poses in the bikini. She is also seen jamming to Lee Greenwood‘s rendition of God Bless The U.S.A. which is playing in the background.
In response to the body-shaming comments, the former Playboy model shared another picture of herself over the weekend. This time she sported a light pink two-piece bikini that showed off her toned body and legs.
She outlined the post with a caption that reads, ‘Quite a few women complained about the 4th of July video I posted in a red white & blue bikini because they thought I was “classier than that” and “too old to wear a bikini” and, my favorite, “desperate.”‘
The 54-year-old star added, ‘Let me tell you something that might surprise you. I can actually wear and do literally whatever I want. On that note, here is me in a bikini squatting on a coffee table.’
Celebrities and fans defend Donna D’Errico
Donna D’Errico’s fans and Hollywood colleagues immediately came to her defense against the haters.
Additionally, they flooded her comment section with love and support as they applauded D’Errico for her confidence.
