Well, Barbie, the famous doll has become an inspiration for the upcoming movie. However, viewers are getting excited to watch it. The ratings given to it might restrict the content to be watched by young fans of Barbie.

Barbie, the popular doll character is very famous among young fans. As such the younger ones have been excited to watch the film Barbie that’s arriving this July on the big screen. However, the ratings given to the movie have left the parents of the young fans concerned.

Barbie 2023 movie has been given 12A ratings. That would mean that the movie is having content in it that can’t be watched by anyone under age 12. As such the parents aren’t happy with the ratings given to the movie and have expressed their disappointment on social media recently.

Margot Robbie is to play the role of Barbie in the movie. She would be showing her lavish, pink theme lifestyle in the movie. Although, the content of the movie this time might be adult-oriented and hence likely not suitable for young fans below 12 years of age. Parents have thus been unhappy for their kids who won’t be able to watch the movie owing to its ratings.

One of the parent said, “My child is nine and plays with barbies. But i don’t know whether to take her or not. I don’t think she’s ever watched a 12A before”. Parents have been literally feeling their young kids below 12A have been left out of watching the movie due to its content.
