Ariana Grande is embarking on a new journey. The 30-year-old pop diva signed with a new management team months after departing her long-term manager, Scooter Braun. According to Billboard, Grande will now be managed by Brandon Creed’s Good World Management. Creed quit Full Stop Management this summer (which he merged with his own The Creed Company in 2017) after representing Bruno Mars to Lizzo. According to a source, Arianna appreciates that Brandon recognizes her talents as well as acting and music, she has a lot going on and is pleased to have found a support system to assist her with her goals.

“She prefers the focus to be on her art, and he prioritises her artistry as well as vision over everything else,” a second source revealed on the music website. “He is the ideal person to help her realize her visions for her next chapter in life and career.” Grande’s new management comes after the Positions singer parted ways with Braun’s SB Projects earlier this summer. She was one of several high-profile clientele, including Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, and Idina Menzel, who allegedly departed Braun in a “mass exodus.” Braun rose to prominence after spotting Bieber on YouTube in 2007. In addition, in 2019, Braun notoriously purchased Taylor Swift’s masters (her first six albums), which he later sold to Shamrock Capital for $300 million in 2020.

Demi Lovato also quit her professional relationship with him at the time, and a month later, one week before the release of her new album ‘Revamped,’ she signed with Good World Management.

At the time, Braun responded to allegations that a number of his musicians were looking for new management by stating, “Breaking news… “I’m no longer in charge of myself.” Justin Bieber, David Guetta, Black Eyed Peas, Ava Max, and Carly Rae Jepsen are among his other clients. Braun sprang to prominence in 2008 after helping to begin the career of a then 12-year-old Bieber after witnessing him perform on YouTube and has subsequently represented him for 15 years. However, in recent years, Braun has been embroiled in controversy after allegedly refusing Taylor Swift access to her master recordings. The feud between the two began in 2019 when he paid $300 million (£227 million) for her former record company Big Machine through his financial group Ithaca Holdings. The entrepreneur was said to have reservations over how he handled the sale of Swift’s master recordings last year. Grande recently posted photographs on Instagram from the studio, where it’s believed she’s working on her seventh studio album. Selena Gomez, Billie Eilish, and SZA have all expressed excitement about the singer’s new song. She’ll also play Glinda, the Good Witch, in Universal’s adaptation of the Broadway musical Wicked.
