Ari Lennox post audition clip for ‘The Princess And The Frog’

According to reports, Ari Lennox wants the role of Tiana in the upcoming and much-anticipated live-action remake of Disney’s The Princess and the Frog.

Ari Lennox auditions for Disney’s ‘The Princess And The Frog’
Most recently, rumors are going around that Disney is considering a remake of 2009’s The Princess and the Frog following the release of The Little Mermaid and Peter Pan & Wendy.
Hence, Ari Lennox supposedly heard about the rumors and has decided to nab the role of Tiana.
But the 31-year-old singer is not waiting for the movie giant to reach out to her and has taken matters into her own hands

On 20th March, Lennox took to her social media account on Monday evening to post a video of herself auditioning for the role of Tiana.
In the video, Lennox can be heard singing a rendition of one of the songs from The Princess and the Frog soundtrack.
She went on to outline the post with a caption that read, ‘Hi I’m Ari Lennox and I would love an opportunity to audition for Princess and The Frog in person. Here’s #AlmostThere by Anika Noni Rose.’
As per rumors, Disney is currently working on a live-action remake of The Princess and the Frog. Thus, Lennox also decided to audition for the protagonist Tiana.
Meanwhile, Lennox seemingly has big plans to establish her career in Hollywood after she announced her last tour.
But it appears like the Washington, D.C. native might have another career path in mind. One that includes singing as well as acting.
Ari Lennox announces her last music tour
Fans of Ari Lennox were heartbroken to learn that her Age Sex Location Tour would be the last time she will be on road.
Lennox announced in December 2022 that she will no longer hit the road to tour her music.
She tweeted, ‘Age Sex Location will be my last tour. I love my genuine fans so much and can’t wait to give you my all every night!!’
The R&B songstress went on to say, ‘Europe, I love you but unfortunately there will not be a tour due to reasons out of my control. Happy holidays. See you soon Vegas!’
Meanwhile, the Dreamville Records artist recently joined hands with Babyface for a new song that is titled, ‘Liquor.’
Babyface talked about Lennox’s talent on the podcast Lip Service.
He said, ‘I think that Ari’s voice is a voice that she can sing about many things that matter to a lot of people.’
