As rumors spread about the pair’s romance in Las Vegas Saturday night, Ashanti and Nelly – who have been linked since the 2000s – are fueling their romantic rumors once again. Many of their fans weighed in on their potential renewed romance on social media during the boxing match between Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia. The video footage from the event showed both Nelly and Ashanti holding hands as they exited the venue despite their calm behaviour during the fight. There is no official confirmation or denial from Nelly and Ashanti on whether or not they are back together – or just good industry friends.

While romance rumors have been swirling for months, this is clearly not the first instance. When she appeared on “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen” that same month after their steamy onstage performance of “Body On Me,” Ashanti discussed her relationship with Nelly. Over the years, the couple has maintained tight-lipped secrecy about the terms of their relationship. In an interview with “Sway in the Morning,” Ashanti admitted to Nelly being her first true love. This is a fairly minor industry. Are we going to connect? Yeah… I’m not bitter, she subsequently told Hot 97. I feel like ping-pong in a relationship. You either adore them or despise them. That is a true fact; everybody experiences it.

A Fight Night Date In Vegas Reignites Romance Rumors Between Nelly And Ashanti

There was no doubt excitement among fans of Ashanti and Nelly after a video circulated on social media over the weekend, suggesting the longtime on-again, off-again couple might have been spotted out. Both musicians attended the sold-out Gervonta Davis vs. Ryan Garcia match at T-Mobile Arena on Saturday night and appeared happy to be sitting ringside together. Nelly, 48, and Ashanti, 42, appeared to be holding hands after the fight in video footage.
