Arcellie Muschamp, The Brooklyn nanny who saved the life of a one-year-old boy she was caring for by pushing him to safety has died from her injuries. The boy’s family confirmed her death.

The 52-year-old formerly known as Arcellie “Celi” Muschamp passed away a week after being in a medically-induced coma since a car accident on Dec 20.

Patrick Mullen wrote on a GoFundMe page, Celi saved Rowan from almost-certain serious injury or death. She saved their kid by pushing the stroller out of harm’s way as the vehicle approached.

A stroller containing a one-year-old infant was walking along the roadside when it came dangerously close to colliding with a truck. But the 52-year-old nanny saved them by pushing them aside. Her actions caused her to get hurt and fall into a coma.

Who was Arcellie Muschamp?

This nanny saved a stroller from being crushed by a truck. It could have been almost been hit by a truck. The one-year-old baby named Arcellie “Celi” Muschamp’s father confirmed the woman’s death. A day before the new year came into being, this woman took her last breath on the 31st of December 2021.

The entire community is in mourning after hearing of the woman’s passing. They have been showering her with tributes and flowers.

In the aftermath of the incident, she was rushed to the hospital. She was hailed a miracle and a hero by the doctors for risking her own life to save the boy’s life.

She was injured in the accident on 20 December 2021 and fought for her life for more than two weeks in the hospital.

However, Celi was unable to survive the injuries, and her life was cut short today surrounded by love, comfort, and her family.

Patrick Mullen, the father of the one-year-old child, said he and his wife will forever feel that she was a guardian angel to her son Rowan, who was saved because of her sacrifice.

Muschamp’s daughter Rahzel Muschamp told the Daily News on Saturday that, her mother was the most selfless person ever and that showed in her actions.

“She truly loved the kids she looked after.”

Among Rahzel’s thoughts are that criminal charges should be filed against the motorist. She plans to contact detectives to discover how the investigation is progressing.

Following the crash, the 68-year-old truck driver remained at the scene, but no charges were immediately filed.
