Who was Angel Brinks’ ex-husband Bruce Sandlin?

Bruce David Sandlin, better known by his stage moniker X1, was born on March 6, 1979. As a member of the New York rap group Gang Green and an unofficial member of the popular rap group Onyx, the American rapper was well-known.

Bruce Sandlin was born in Brooklyn and relocated to Queens with his parents a year later. When he began to demonstrate his skills in the art by performing freestyles in public and at school, hip-hop became a part of his life.

Soon after, he created a band with youngsters from his neighbourhood, including Dez (later called Still Livin’), Chop, Cyph Certified, and Whosane, rapper Fredro Starr’s younger brother.

Then he created the stage name X1 and began performing rap around fast-food restaurants like KFC and others.

Onyx, a prominent hip-hop group, noticed the guys and called them to the studio right away, naming the band Gang Green after Fredro Starr’s phrases. They were signed to Onyx’s own label, Armee Records, which is marketed by Capitol and Mercury Records.

I’ll Murder You, Bruce and his band’s first single, was produced by Onyx. They also shot a music video for the tune, which has been playing on TV stations around the country. Then came a series of concerts and interviews. He attended numerous of Onyx’s recordings. It includes the recording of Evil Streets Remix with Method Man in 1994, the band collected more knowledge and footage over time.

Bruce Sandlin gained a lot of popularity in his hometown, so the Onyx decided to keep him all to themselves. The rapper quickly found his position in the new group, contributing to the recording of three of the hip-hop trio’s albums: Shut ‘Em Down, Bacdafucup: Part II, and Triggernometry, as well as solo albums by Fredro Starr and Sticky Fingaz.

Friends suspect that the death was pre-meditated

The rapper was discovered dead in his Las Vegas residence, having committed himself by shooting himself in the head, according to reports. His friends, on the other hand, believe he was murdered and that his death was staged as a suicide during the July 4th fireworks display. The reason of death or murder has yet to be determined.

Bruce Sandlin has a son with his first wife, Baby Vasquez, in addition to Angel Brinks and his son Azari. He was only 28 years old at the time of his death. Angel Brinks’s son was born a month early as a result of the stress induced by his loss.
