3 min readYoung fans and supporters of Andrew Tate have taken to the streets of Athens, Greece to protest against his arrest. Tate is currently in custody over the allegations of human trafficking.

Andrew Tate’s fans protest in Athens
A swarm of teenagers gathered at Ermou Street, a shopping district in Athens on 15th December Sunday to protest against Andrew Tate’s arrest.
Moreover, they repeatedly chanted the phrase, ‘Free Top G,’ referring to Tate on the streets of the capital city.
If you didn’t know, Tate and his younger brother, Tristan Tate, were both arrested on 29th December. Their assets are seized with Romanian authorities currently detaining them.

Meanwhile, the protest in Athens seemingly came together after a message from Tate’s Twitter account.
The post read, ‘Anyone who believes I’m a human trafficker is genuinely a moron. Anyone smart enough to understand the American System is unfair would be mind blown by the injustice of the Romanian System.’

Unsurprisingly, netizens were enraged to learn that Andrew Tate’s supporters have launched a protest and are calling for his freedom.
In addition, many internet users took to their respective social media handles to slam the protestors.
While some people went on to call the demonstration ‘disgusting,’ others pointed out that Tate didn’t really care about the protestors.

What happened to Andrew Tate?
Andrew Tate is a British-American social media personality who is infamous for promoting an alpha masculine and luxurious lifestyle.
Additionally, he often makes headlines for his misogynistic remarks and is slammed on social media for his speech and interviews.
But recently tons of young men have started following Tate as they believe in the ideals he preaches.
Nevertheless, Tate, his brother, and two others were detained by Romanian law enforcement in December 2022. They are arrested under the charges of r*pe, human trafficking, and organized crime.
