Tam Khan, an MMA fighter and actor, also called for the Tate brothers’ release following the wiretap revelations. Furthermore, he said the wiretaps showed the victims plotted to frame the brothers. Investigative journalist Sulaiman Ahmed shared a “Tate Mega Thread” in response to mainstream and alternative media’s visceral attack on the Tate brothers. Additionally, he attacked prominent news outlets such as the BBC and VICE for their coverage of the issue and accused them of lacking journalistic integrity. The Tate brothers were arrested in Romania with two other suspects on December 29, 2022, for alleged human trafficking and forming an alleged organized crime group.
