Anderson Cooper Welcomes Second Baby Sebastian Luke Maisani-Cooper With Former Partner Benjamin Maisani
2 min readAnderson Cooper, CNN’s anchor, revealed on his show on Thursday that he had welcomed a son, Sebastian Luke Maisani-Cooper. Additionally, Cooper has a son, Wyatt, who he welcomed via surrogate in June 2019.
As soon as Cooper announced the birth of his son Sebastian Luke on his CNN show, he was filled with joy. Two-year-old daughter and two-year-old son were delighted as the father of two made the announcement.
Who is Sebastian Luke Maisani-Cooper?
Sebastian Luke Maisani-Cooper, Anderson Cooper’s second child, has been born to him and his best friend Benjamin Maisani.
Sebastian, born via surrogate and weighing 6.8 pounds at birth, joins brother Wyatt, who is almost 22 months old.
“It’s adorable to me even when he has hiccups,” Cooper told viewers in an interview. Cooper said that in addition to sleeping, eating, and probably pooping, he already seems a wise and thoughtful baby.

Cooper then showed Wyatt these pictures just days after he was born, taken just days after birth. “This is Wyatt today. He is nearly 22 months old. ” Cooper said that Wyatt is sweet, funny, and the greatest joy of his life. He then revealed that Wyatt has a little brother now that he looks very happy in this picture. “I would like to introduce you to Sebastian.“
“We are co-parents,” said Cooper. He shared that Wyatt calls him “Daddy,” and Benjamin is “Papa”.
As part of the adoption process, Maisani plans to give Wyatt the last name Cooper, as well as change Wyatt’s name.
Cooper said Wyatt helped put together Sebastian’s crib and calls his little brother by his middle name, Luke. “Sebastian is a mouthful for a 22-month-old.”
Cooper thanked his surrogate for helping bring Sebastian into the world.

On Instagram, Cooper posted a photo of him and his son Wyatt. They both had big smiles on their faces as they looked like they were having the time of their lives. This photo is from an article in People magazine in which Cooper explains why he wrote a book about his family. It is based on a letter the CNN host says he wrote to his son, “Vanderbilt: The Rise and Fall of an American Dynasty.”.
In his interview for the magazine, Cooper discusses his son’s social nature and how he’s always happy.
