Amy Schumer sat down for an interview on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen which eventually aired on 8th June.

Moreover, she got candid about her take on Ozempic and criticized celebrities for using the injectable drug.

She said, ‘Everyone and their mom is gonna try it. Everyone has been lying saying, “Oh, smaller portions.”‘

She continued, ‘Like, shut the f**k up. You are on Ozempic or one of those things, or you got work done. Just stop.’

The I Feel Pretty actress was referring to the time when she took to her social media to share her experience with liposuction in 2022.

If you didn’t know, Ozempic is an FDA-approved semaglutide medication that is mainly used by patients suffering from Type 2 diabetes. However, it can be prescribed for off-brand weight loss.

However, Schumer revealed that she began to take the drug last year. But she went on to admit that she stopped using Ozempic due to its side effects.

The 42-year-old comedian further said that taking the FDA-approved medication deterred her from spending time with her four-year-old son Gene, who she shares with her husband Chris Fischer.

She stated, ‘I was one of those people that felt so sick and couldn’t play with my son.’

She recalled, ‘I was so skinny, and he’s throwing a ball at me, and [I couldn’t].’
